Synopsis
Dramatisation and dramatic play are simple yet effective ways for parents to support their child's bilingual development at home. As young children naturally enjoy pretend play, these moments offer meaningful opportunities for them to hear and use both English and their Mother Tongue Language in engaging, everyday contexts. This session explores how parents can weave dramatic play into daily routines using familiar household items, favourite books and songs; all without extensive preparation or cost.
Participants will leave with practical strategies to model and encourage natural bilingual language use through enjoyable play experiences and daily interactions.
