Synopsis
This interactive workshop explores an engaging approach to Chinese language learning that integrates kids’ yoga, mindfulness practices and storytelling. Through movement, imagination and sensory experience, children are immersed in Chinese as a living language that can be felt, understood and expressed, rather than simply memorised or written.
Our movement-based activities help children internalise vocabulary, stimulate their imagination through stories, and build confidence through authentic expression, in an environment of meaningful language exploration.
Through stories, movement, and sensory activities, children will have the opportunity to experience and learn Chinese in an engaging and hands-on way that cultivates both their interest and confidence in the language.
Parents will pick up simple, practical ways to support their child's Chinese language learning at home through movement and storytelling. They will also discover how experiential learning can deepen children's engagement with Chinese.
*Participants are required to bring their own yoga mats.
